Rainbow Rock, ID

Hi there,
next year I want to hike to the Rainbow Rock (Gallery Link). TH is Deadman Campground.

What is the best way to reach the TH (over Yellow Pine or McCall)? Are the roads are rough and twisty, - is a 4WD recommended?
